Get Inspired to Find Your Motto Today

I have always loved the quote “Live, Laugh, Love” but I see it everywhere. So I wanted to make it more me. Now, I have no clue if this quote has been made before because great minds think alike, but this is the motto I have molded out of the “Live, Laugh, Love” quote to make it more about my life.

Maybe you’re that odd puzzle piece out of the picture that can’t seem to find its fit. That is okay! Be your own picture, follow your own motto.

Live to Laugh

Live to Laugh

live to laugh

My entire life laughter has been my drug. I laugh at myself, I laugh with friends; I even laugh in awkward situations. That’s just me and I used to be embarrassed by it. I could find humor in just about anything, sometimes causing me to be the only one in a room laughing. People would look at me and say “Wow you laugh a lot.” Seems like a weird statement to make but who am I judging. It’s not like I am running around screaming “Fire!” a lot. Its laughter and it is good for you. I have learned to love myself for it, as it is a cure for the worst of days. A good laugh for me can change my attitude completely for the rest of the day.

Even though I laugh a lot I try not to do it at any ones expense. I would rather laugh with you and not at you. To share a laugh with someone is sharing a wealth that is priceless. My best friend and I sometimes will laugh until we are crying and the rest of room is staring at us like we are crazy, but her and I get each other. We love to laugh together. Those moments mean the world to me. Finding someone who understands your silly is such a blessing and I hope everyone has this person/persons in their life. My other best friend, my husband, somehow loves me no matter what weird noises, sayings, or quirky things come out of my mouth. When I am down he knows just how to make me laugh or smile again and it’s all for love.

Love to Live

Love to Live

I am still trying to find myself but I have learned to love all my own and life’s oddities along the way. My growth to loving myself for who I am has come with a lot of reflecting on my past and appreciating it all as a learning experience rather than beating myself up over things I can’t change. Find the good in what made you who you are now. Today I am a stronger person than I was yesterday. Loving what life hands me is not always easy, but it is something I strive to do every day. With a tendency to stress about every choice I make I am determined to learn to let go and just Love to Live. I want to travel, meet new people, find my true passion and only loving to live life will get me there.

Times in life I need inspiration to push through things, take on new adventures, or live my dreams. I hope this quote inspires others too and gets you thinking about your own motto. If you do not have a motto think about your favorite things to do. What in your past has defined who you are today? How have you been a better person because of it? What are your dreams and the things you do each day to reach them?

What inspires you?

I would love to hear your motto. Share it with me in the comments below or on Facebook.

  1. Super nice post and motto. Great thoughts have been put and laughter is actually a drug… some people don’t believe me when I say this to them. Glad I now have you to share this thought. I live my a few mottos… but top notch one is work where perseverance meet not perfection but satisfaction and creates happiness
